We've had a full and fun May--with sweet girls who love to keep each other laughing, who dance and sing for us and tell us stories. We've got prolific artists who spend hours coloring pictures for us, and girls who like to challenge each other, and comfort each other.
Throughout this month there has been a lot of talk about the future. Siri is so excited to go to preschool--whenever we go to drop-off/pick-up Annie she finds an unoccupied cubbie to sit in, and talks about what she's going to do as a preschooler (actually, it's a lot about what she will wear at preschool, Siri loves clothes, and typically changes about 5 times a day). Annie is very excited about kindergarten, though she's said she's sad to be finishing at preschool. She's loved this spring there--she's become quite an avid bird watcher, has loved planting things in the gardens, and over the past couple of weeks carded, dyed, and spun wool. The girls both have enjoyed doing more with families at church, as well as spending time with old friends. We're looking forward to a wonderful summer.

For Mother's Day, we had a lovely brunch with Eric's mom, followed by a relaxing walk by the lake to a local ice cream shop, and time to simply be together...

Here we are with Papa, who took Siri to her last music class this week. We've so enjoyed our music classes over the past five years, with both girls, and it's so bizarre to think that we're done with the Early Childhood Music programs.

Annie has been loving her dance class, and is quite excited about her upcoming recital. She's been focused on head stands...Her she is practicing one...
We've been enjoying time in the backyard. Today, a hot, steamy day (hotter than in Phoenix!) we needed lemonade and time in the sprinklers...

And, last weekend, we had Annie's school's fundraiser "Rock the Barn." The highlight for both of the girls was the pony rides...
