In the afternoon, we headed back to church for the Christmas Pageant. Annie enjoyed watching, in particular the middle schoolers' puppet show (with muppet-style puppets to "Go, Tell it on the Mountain"), and the high schoolers dressed as camels. Eric and my favorite part was watching Siri as Baby Jesus. We weren't sure what she would make of everything, but she did a wonderful job. She sat happily on the lap of the girl playing Mary, and watched everything around her. For about 45 minutes, the only sound she made was happy babbling. Needless to say, we were quite proud.

Siri's Debut & St. Lucia Day
We celebrated St. Lucia Day on Sunday morning with a tasty almond treat, coffee, and lighting candles. We showed Annie some pictures of St. Lucia celebrations and talked about how when she was older she could play the part of St. Lucia and wake everyone up. Somehow, putting a wreath of lit candles on a two year old's head seemed risky.
