Yes, I know it's been a long time again. I am not sure where February went. We had a good, full month that included Eric performing with MacPhail faculty, me playing "the Fairy Godmother" in our church's musical version of Cinderella, a trip to Arizona for the Arizona State Centennial/Valentine's Day, both of the girls getting set for school next year (Siri will start preschool at the Nature Center and Annie will start kindergarten at a German Immersion school!), and--despite the craziness--enjoying time together, especially enjoying watching Annie and Siri interact. They have begun to create elaborate games together, which often involve princesses, balls (as in dances, when they either dance with each other, stuffed animals, or imaginary princes who like to hide under our kitchen table (?!)), and house. They love to make each other laugh, they love to help with things around the house, and they are quite a delightful team!

We've enjoyed an unseasonably warm March. The girls have loved riding around the block, creating sidewalk chalk masterpieces, and driving with the windows open--giggling away at the hair blowing in the breeze. The warm weather has also helped me in my big March goal--to run a half marathon with my friend Di. On this past Saturday, we ran in a St. Patrick's Day Half Marathon, and--believe it or not--had a wonderful time, actually talking about when we will do it again.

With St. Patrick's Day behind us, we're starting to gear up for Easter and for Annie's birthday--it's hard to believe she's almost five...
