Seventeen Months...

Annie has had a fun, full week. Grandma arrived on Saturday evening and Annie's enjoyed sharing with her some of her favorite activities. We've visited parks, the Children's Museum, we've done laundry (really, it can be exciting to move things from the laundry to the dryer!), we've read book after book, sang songs, danced...

Annie continues to add new words to her vocabulary: bus, ball, eye, hand, and nose. In general she's becoming more and more vocal, old words are becoming clearer and are being used more often.

She's enjoyed talk over the last week about our friends Emily and Brett expecting a new baby, and likes to pat Emily's tummy and sing "Rock-a-Bye-Baby" to it (we can't wait to see her interact with it in the next few days!).

She continues to become more and more of a climber, getting into places that I'm not always comfortable with. We've somehow managed to avoid too many bruises...

Grandma says to report that she's adorable, that the way she plays with all her animals and dolls is really cute.

We agree with Grandma, and are in awe of how Annie looks more and more like a little girl (and less and less like a baby).

We hope that everyone is enjoying the end of their summer!

Oh, that grin in the second pic - she is such a doll!

And the second-to-last pic looks downright Southwestern! Is that in MN??

Hope you're having fun with your mom! I can't wait to hear about "Little House" :)

(And P.S., I can't wait to see pics of the bebe - but no pressure!)
