The very same day that we had the excitement of meeting Ella, Grandpa arrived from Arizona.
We've had a lot of fun together this past week, and have all been thoroughly entertained by Annie. Her vocabulary is increasing to include Annie, stop, domino, go, up, and down. She gets a kick out of conducting us in activities (tapping, singing, whistling over bottles) at meal times, and is very certain about the effect she is going for--bringing us in one at a time, having us all play together, slower, faster, stopping. She loves to walk around backwards and/or with her eyes closed, to pretend she is asleep (and having us all say "shhh, Annie's sleeping), and to communicate with anyone and everyone--she certainly knows what she wants!

You get cuter every day! I'm glad you're so opinionated; isn't it fun to command all of the adults in your life? We love you, and we're so glad you're with your sweet grandparents. Give everyone a hug from us!
