We arrived home late last Tuesday night, and Eric headed out the door early Wednesday morning for a conference in Florida. He was only gone for three days--those went by in a blur as we tried to get accustomed to cold, rainy, very autumnal weather, and get settled back in at home. It's been good to catch up with family and friends here, and to enjoy the last bit of Minnesota's autumn. We raked leaves on Sunday and Annie thought it was quite fun to "help" rake, and to have everyone jump in the piles, Siri was pretty happy just relaxing in the leaves.
We're gearing up for a busy holiday season--just like Disneyland was a blast with a two-and-a-half-year old, we're loving talking about and preparing for celebrations--big and little--with Annie. Her wonder and excitement at everything are, well, pretty amazing, and the smile that Siri gets on her face when she sees Annie all animated, well, we're a pretty smiley family...
