I'm splitting up the posts for December, between Advent & Christmas festivities, and travels to Arizona and California, it feels too overwhelming otherwise…
To set the tone for all that follows, here is our poem for the month:
A wreath is made for this Advent Season,
Reminding us that LOVE is the Reason.
Nights get longer, glittering snow falls;
We're so happy to deck the halls.
St. Lucia with her candle crown,
Joins the lights that are all around.
Candles in the windows, lights on the house;
Going to Disneyland to see a famous mouse.
Watching Fantasmic keeps us shivering late,
Winter is different in these western states.
We play in the sunshine, we play at the beach;
Soon the New Year is within our reach.
With friends and family, we had a ball;
Hope, peace, joy, and love we wish for all.
