Happy Summer, Happy Father's Day!

We had a good week, our little family of four. We spent lots of time in the backyard, time relaxing together in the living room (where the pollen couldn't find me), we ventured to the library, to the mall, to the grocery store, Eric and Annie took lots of walks together. Basically, we tried to take it easy and enjoy a different pace of life together. Tomorrow, it's back to reality.

Here are a few shots from today's Father's Day festivities. After church, we did some playing in the yard, and Annie wanted to be the photographer, so here is her portrait of Daddy.

After naptime, Eric's dad and stepmom came over to play and have dinner. Here are Papa, Daddy, and the girls.

Annie's turned into quite the little acrobat lately. She seems (yikes!) to know no fear, and is always ready to try out new manuvers.

Siri's doing well, we had a doctor's appointment last Thursday (her 2 week), and she'd gained almost a pound, so she's weighing in at 10 lbs 5 oz, needless to say, we're trying to get her in all of her newborn outfits as quick as possible, because there's not a lot of room left in them! Her grin is starting to surface, and Annie's taken a lot of delight in getting her to smile. (Yes, we know it could be well-timed gas, but we don't think Annie needs to know that!, for that matter, we're fine forgetting it too!)

The second one always seems to grow so quickly, don't they? I remember being exactly where you are now. I was terrified of how I was going to grocery shop with two kids once my mother went home!

Such beautiful little girls, Jenia. :)

It's lucky you have carpet flooring instead of tile! I remember the goose eggs my kids used to get during that stage.
