One of the treats of Siri's birth was having my lifelong friend Julie here to share in the experience. She also flew in for Annie's birth, but arrived 36 hours too late to be here for the birth. This time, she arrived two days before the birth, so we got some time to catch-up beforehand. Annie was thrilled to play with Julie--they went on adventure walks, looked at pictures of Julie's many adventures (particularly in Africa), read about fairies, played rolly-poly across the living room floor, and generally had a marvelous time.
